@hellomiakoda oh, interesting. Maybe with games it uses a different mix depending on which file the sound is playing from (voice and non-voice)

@hellomiakoda it could be as simple as a clever EQ trick they figured out by machine learning.

It could also be stem separating the voices from other sounds and doing a remix on the fly with an EQ plus a very fast attack and release compressor on other sounds sidechained to the voice line but I don’t know if this can be done real time.

Is this only for games or does it work on every sound played through the device?

Look, if your overall message is “I’m proposing the same as the other guy but milder and less” in an election, you’re gonna lose.

It’s like advertising your snack brand by writing “but with less flavor” on the package.

@digichelle @KatyElphinstone I just wanted to add, there’s no material test they could do to determine if you’re autistic for sure. It’s all comparative assessments subjectively evaluated by people whose experience and credentials we’re supposed to trust.

Even with a formal diagnosis, you may still question it, in fact, logic dictates you must question it. The best you can do is to accept it as the conclusion with the highest degree of confidence.

Then, who can be more confident in what your own experience is than yourself?
