Super sad the blue jay wasn't included in the Wingspan Birds of Canada booster pack, but it makes sense (the blue jay doesn't give a f* about nations :nes_fire: ...). But I got to know this cutie, the ᖁᐸᓄᐊᖅ (qupanuaq) ! Very happy they made the effort to research and use the Inuktut name of the bird.

Finally found what was icking me. The iPad (I think I see a retouched power button bottom center) is out of focus top right, while the graphic is not. Stock photo with slopped infographic? The skeleton's spine is pretty off.

3 month seems an awful long time to study just one thing 🥲

Searching for a gemini webring and ending up on @clarity's wiki that is part of the xxiivv community 💖

My meme dealer provided me these, thanks Beni!

@evan nice! how often are these?

@dook maybe this is super unsolicited and you already know these projects. But maybe you can draw inspiration from https://soupault.app and @aral’s https://kitten.small-web.org

I wrote a CDC Archive Archiver to pull public information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website. Just in case people get weird ideas of removing science from the public discourse. This is part of a larger effort that, among others, @lavaeolus initiated. You are welcome to chime in if that's up your alley.

I’m at the same time excited and insecure to share the publication of my first article. This is a new experience for me and I want to thank @thist and @Eugen_pfister for their guidance along the way.

“Observing the Coming of Age of Video Game Graphics” is an attempt to dig the complex history of video games through their visuality.
