I have no idea what he's talking about, but from the data I have, my guess is, that the formula is 100% * (1 - 2^-N).

This way you'll never get more than 100%.

100% * (1 - (1 / (1 + N))) would work, too.

@lain Yup, but everybody can just use their own time already.
A company could just have their own company time for example.
Or a shop could add "Always summer time" to their opening times.
I would just use the time my PC shows me. And it already does summer and winter time automatically.

I doubt, that the majority of Germans even know the purpose of summer and winter time.

@lain Allgemein sollte alles und jeder eine Erkennungsmelodie haben.
Videospiele haben ihre eigenen Musiken. In Spielen haben meist Orte/Charaktere ihre eigenen Musiken.
Bei Nintendo-Konsolen hat sogar der Shop seine eigene Musik (gehabt?).
In Freizeitparks hat jeder bereich eine andere Musik.
Wenn man sich mit jemandem trifft, soll man schon an dessen Musik erkennen, was das für einer ist.
