    @p I'm still living hinterland of the coast that's hometown. I keep coming back, even after interstate moves. Hopefully the 2032 Olympics bring more people here. It's paradise.

    @p I did my gap year after HS in Hong Kong and was smothered with Cantonese. I prefer Szechuan style. I'll drive over an hour each way here for premium Chinese food.

    @p with the price of lamb/sheep it still hasn't effected the live export haha

    I've stopped buying lamb, I refuse to pay the prices now.

    Gourmet ground beef is $20/kilo as it is.
    My son Saxon won't eat anything bar prime beef or lamb cuts. I finally persuaded him to rump steak slivers cut up and he's happy now.

    @p I don't blink when buying horse feed, it's expensive no matter what. No idea about cattle fed lots. If I could slaughter a horse and it wouldn't bother people, I would. Horse tastes good.

    @p it's the herd sizes at an all time low. We still ship live export for as long as we can. We don't accept any US beef products into Australia still. I think that's the same issue everywhere, herd sizes at all time lows pushing up prices.

    @p it's already intense being so pricey. If lamb wasn't sitting near $50/kilo for good cuts it would be great. I went through a whole winter of prices getting ridiculous.

    @p heck rump is $36.99 a kilo and there's 2.2lb to a kilo and I refuse to even look at the price of rib eye. Humidity and ocean go together. I'm just starting to feel it spring month start ending. Although a wet spring summer is more humidity trapped.

    I'd be happy with a cyclone 🌀

    Fire season here I'm preparing for now. I don't see there being much issue on my acres.
