@paninid There's nothing intelligent about ANY Ai we have now. It outputs data that it thinks is correct based on data points, but really has absolutely no understanding what it is really outputting. It has no understanding of how and why it came to that conclusion to serve specific data to the output. And that's the whole problem with "Ai". It's like solving complex math equation (presumably) correctly with no understanding how you got the result in the end. That's the "Ai" we have now.

@thomasfuchs Ai was clever initially because it was trained on clean data made by people. Now it's ingesting hallucinations, bullshit and degenerated data and is training on it. I call it incest data training.

I use "Ai" to process photos and it does great job with its models at enhancing details and sharpness, fixing broken lens focus etc. But as soon as you input image that was already processed by "Ai", it just looks AWFUL.

@aral If it's local and useful like transcription of speech app or desktop wide, then why not. Anything connected to big cloud Ai corporations with fetching of data online, then hell no.
