     @aral If it's local and useful like transcription of speech app or desktop wide, then why not. Anything connected to big cloud Ai corporations with fetching of data online, then hell no.

     @aral …why does an OS where you can pipe from place to place easily require OS-level integration for calling an API?

     Like what‘s the actual engineering problem here that third-party software couldn‘t solve incredibly easy?

     @vger Donno, maybe they discount non-English replies as “didn’t understand the question.” :) Less cynically, they might have an internal debate about whether it’s worth issuing surveys in multiple languages and they’re gathering data to make a decision (because, goodness forbid, we make those decisions on what would be the right thing to do instead of what a number tells us to do).
