This story should not be about debunking "the pets". Nor should it be about debunking false claims about the negative impacts of resettling legal immigrants.

It should be about how these kinds of dark racist slurs are born into existence by regular white folks just gabbing over Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes.

@aral It's really not at all clear if you are advocating to fix democratic processes or abandon them.

And I think it's very troubling that your post can be fairly interpreted either way.
