But that would lead to Mozilla having to ramp up services and reduce software development. (Im making the point of the difference between charity and coop) and who they operate to benefit. - The better solution is to widen the sources of funds.

Im not sure #Mozilla would be an idea #coop rather than a #charity given its only output is #opensource software rather than services to paying customers.

@steffo Oh thats sad I thought this could be a part of really bringing #mastodon mainstream. Software that makes offering #ActivityPub services for a domain really simple is critical to making it easy for a #hostingprovider offering it as part of their basic packages
