@kilroy_was_here@killyourfm I like using Tauon (which I assume you've tried) but I have it pointed at a Navidrome library that's like a fifth the size of yours, and it does just blatantly treat everything as a playlist.
@padraig Those instances usually run the mastodon nightly images, so I'm thinking impatient/brave instances could probably get the feature at the same time if they made that leap (and decent backups)
...unless "available later on for everyone else" implies it's a specific PR that hasn't merged yet?
I type replies to plenty of things I see online, and then right before I post it, I think "wait, why am I bothering to engage with this?" and just scrap it and move on.
I kinda like it in a way, I get to dump any lingering thoughts on the topic.
In the end I added 34k~ historical listens to my ListenBrainz profile... think it's gonna spice up my Weekly Jams and Weekly Exploration playlists going forward 🥳
Checked out the first 3 episodes of the new King of the Hill season. It seems alright so far, but tbh I lowered my expectations quite a bit after seeing Hulu's attempt at a Futurama revival.
As an aside, did you see any of latest minor drama around DuckStation? The dev is threatening to drop linux support outright because (my interpretation here) he keeps getting issue reports from users of an Arch AUR packaged version...
Playing #WheelWorld and loving it, but it completely stopped rendering 3D stuff during one of the cutscenes on me...
It does the same if you Alt+Tab, so I have figured out changing a graphics setting and changing it back fixes it as a workaround, but during cutscenes you can't open settings...
The main delay was that I decided to move all my other self-hosted stuff around too.
Previously everything was just kinda thrown at Portainer, and then I'd cross my fingers and run watchtower to update stuff.
Now I've got everything siloed into per-machine Gitea repos, and Renovate set up to monitor for updates. Webhooks are fired off to roll out any changes as they happen and redeploy stacks via Komodo.
It's really nice. Now I can ignore things again for a while.
