@Humpleupagus ooh, I was just looking to try that as an alternative to coffee. are there any side effects to those, as in like anything similar to the side effects of coffee? I was looking into them primarily because I get sour stomach after a few months of ramping up my coffee tolerance and I always have to quit and I kind of would rather just replace coffee altogether with caffeine pills if they’re effective

Pros:
Get there faster
Cons:
Treated like a prisoner in the airport
Shitty lines, terrible people everywhere
The flights themselves have gotten way worse (shitty planes, tiny seats)
You get new fun diversity all around you
Who knows if the pilot is a DEI hire or not
Who knows if the plane is safe
It’s just a shitty, shitty experience, regardless of anything else. and I’m sure they made it this way on purpose. but planes are basically just flying buses, and now you get bus-type passengers too.

Either way, it’s really just a matter of preference. I’ve been driving recently instead of flying and I find it much more enjoyable. I like seeing the country that way, you see a lot more of it that way.
