Most of the time I had the entire store to myself, I felt like one of those super rich ladies who could close down a boutique for personal shopping. Even two days before Christmas it was a quiet peaceful store

@FlashMobOfOne My current job had me do six rounds of interviews. When I was in the process I had to make the decision that if I don’t get this job I’m just stuck at my (then-current) job that I hated for the rest of the year because I used up all my PTO for the year on interviews

Luckily I did get hired and am generally happy here, but I can’t imagine trying to interview at multiple places all doing several rounds while trying to keep it hidden from a current employer

@multiverseofbadness I learned about it from an email newsletter yesterday, but the only other place I had encountered it before was in zone chat in an MMO, so I’m really out of the loop

@multiverseofbadness I miss the xtwitter gang so much, only a couple of them made it here and I don’t think any of them stuck around. I’m avoiding threads (and I recently uninstalled Instagram out of anger even) but I might give bsky another shot
