    If a doctor can't answer the question, "what determines a successful ending to therapy?" then he's a quack who just wants to mik you for money

    A chiropractor once tried to pull this shit on me. I was having some back problems so he did imaging, then used a bunch of scary language about disk degeneration and tried to schedule me for 2x a week visits. No talk of any end point or how we determine progress or success

    Fuck all that shit. I do have some lower back osteoarthritis and used to suffer from sciatica. Guess what cured the sciatica? Hip stretches and hip strengthening. None of this was suggested to me or done by medical professionals. I did it to throw better kicks and a side effect was 95 percent improvement in pain and discomfort.

    I don't always get things right but the truth is very important to me. I always want to know what the truth is

    Being this way is very alienating in a culture where most people couldn't care less about the truth.

    Even your "nice" neighbor doesn't fucking care. Probably 90 percent of people will just say whatever is the most socially acceptable thing to say. They'll also lie without remorse in the workplace if they think that's the easiest path.

    This is why corporate America just sucks. Someone builds a business with a strong, trusted brand then the next CEO comes in and starts slashing jobs, cheapening the product, and abusing the good will that someone else built.

    They can ride this for 10-15 years raking in bonuses for their short term profitability.

    But just like our national debt, they're borrow from the future. And then one day the chickens co e home to roost aster they've destroyed the brand trust and chased off the internal institutional knowledge.

    Then the CEO just moves on with his money and doesn't somewhere else.

    You saw this with the family owned Weller's Bourbon. It was the best bourbon in the world when the family sold it to a corporation. First thing the corporation did was buy cheaper ingredients.

    I just finished watching a video about a female former Planned Parenthood abortionist who flipped and became pro-life.

    Wrote a book and everything

    Oh, how nice. At the end of her interview she made sure to let us know that anti-abortion activists' mean words were the real problem and that both sides need to find ways to understand each other.

    You know, the way that rapists need to be understood and not attacked with mean words, right lady?

    When the interviewer asked what she would say to Christian woman who'd had an abortion years ago, she counselled that the woman should confront her pastor about any mean words he said about women who kill babies in the womb because people like her "have been hurt by abortion."

    She said nothing about repentance.

    So there you go. There's the pro life movement in a nutshell. Women who kill their babies are victims.

    This is why I am an abortion abolitionists. And if that means we imprison 25 percent of American women for murder, I'm good with it.
