    Online, if you try to be leftist and cater to that group when you're turbo canceled x5000, you're not going to make it. You won't get friends, you won't get people ready to help you stay up. Instead you'll get people sending you the joke about the leopards eating faces party.

    You will never ever win their purity spirals, ever. It's a fool's game. You have to use the correct terms for certain groups, worship the correct groups, and support the right policies on cue. Break ranks with even one and you're the next Glinner or JK Rowling, and at least they managed to find a niche since they just so happened to not be the only people breaking ranks with said viewpoint. If you apologize it's even worse, you can grovel all you want and they'll continue to go after you until you're either deleting all your accounts and fading into obscurity or doing a flip.

    @despair Also if you get new tires for that, please call ahead. I'm not kidding. They are not going to have your tires in stock. They only have the popular car/LT sizes, not even C sizes (for "european style" work vans like the transit). Yes I'm not joking, they have to fucking custom order work van tires at a lot of tire shops.

    @despair So I used to work at a car shop and the thing is, nobody sells .5 tires anymore. They're all custom order, car or truck. Furthermore it's a common meme at those shops that trucks are the one thing you can ignore factory PSI and tire size on because truck owners are always using aftermarket rims that do not use factory sizes at a higher rate than normal car owners do.

    They all use the Metric sizes now for new cars/trucks and 90s ones at least, domestic and import.
