    @nerthos The only banks who offer anything tangibly different are Shari'ah institutions, offering student loans and mortgages. I've recently discovered Halal mortgages are offered to the Ummah in Ireland, the only way to afford a place to live.

    @Humpleupagus The BBC only ever seem to run cover for stories that make the British look bad. Why did anyone expect an Aboriginal-led inquiry to not find that genocide had happened?

    Those who know more about that time in history than me have suggested that the Aboriginal populations were decimated by disease. If that's the case, was the bacteria British as well?

    @sun The problems we have go beyond economy, which is why many struggle to fathom how much we are fucked. The systems designed to protect my interests have failed too many times to count. The march of 'progress' through our institutions have led us to a point where we have forgotten basic facts of reality.

    We must return to the traditions that built us up in the first place. It requires undoing generations of self-destruction brought about by our tolerance towards those who have threatened our way of life. We must repeal and repent, or face civil unrest beyond anything I could ever imagine. I am here for it.

    @mangeurdenuage We need to discuss this when we're both perky and awake. I'm interested to hear more about this, especially given the context we've seen a rate of change over a generation that I'm not sure can be resolved with any progressive system, not until the rot that has formed is removed first so we can get our house back in order.
