First there was GitHub Copilot, the OG Copilot. And that seemingly was successful at what it did.

And because GitHub is a limited-integrated MSFT property, they of course kept the name and reused it EVERYWHERE where there is a search form.
The did change the icon though.

So now you got Azure Copilot, M365 Copilot, Windows Copilot, Bing Copilot and of couse bare Copilot. Neither of which is GitHub Copilot.

The thing I do not understand though is, why there is no Microsoft Flightsimulator Copilot.
That would make sense.

@GossiTheDog As far as I can tell, hundreds of applicants on every open position within the first days is just "normal" for a while already.

That being said, most of these candidates were unqualified for the position and would've required visa sponsorship. Easy to filter out back then.

Sooo. I am sitting in an ICE train in Germany. Train is - of course - delayed.
Train manager comes on and does an announcement about the upcoming delays.
Then he mentiones that the train is very full because a lot of air passengers have been rebooked onto the train by Lufthansa due to "a hacker attack against multiple airlines".

There has been no hacker attack, the airlines are just experiencing the consequences of their actions, specifically their vendor choice (crowdstrike) and their process choices (staggered rollouts? pish pash, damn the torpedoes and full steam ahead).

But now I am hearing passengers discussing why their kids online game does not work, which is certainly related to the hacker attack...

I am starting to understand so much about the dark ages...

Here's another radical idea, how about we just fucking ban fashist parties. Easier done than convincing their voters that they are wrong.

That's a pretty big signal that those ideas are not okay and not acceptable.

I checked earlier:
