The way I read Delta’s comment, they see violent computer games not as a cause, but rather a symptom for how ingrained violence is in US culture.

As a european, I share that sentiment, since US levels of violence in computer games or movies usually result in a higher age rating, than in the US.

(While sexual themes usually have a smaller influence on age rating, since that’s usually less controversial for europeans)

@youronlyone That`s probably a more realistic depiction of a social network. Mastodon lacks the aggressive marketing mechanisms, other big social media platforms have, so users actually have to produce content, that is spread around organically and can`t rely on the platform to boost their posts.

This may lead to confiscation and even hefty fines by the customs office.
