    @solidsanek when you're done with RE4R there is a kinda cool video from Digital Foundry comparing some of the original RE4 versions when it comes to the tech (the GC really did the game a great justice), story wise it's the same bits except that Leon is more of an edgy early 2000's guy which i guess they wholly could not include in the remake for obvious reasons.

    2 and it's remasters and remakes and 4 are my all time fav RE games. :koishicomf:

    @sun oh there is one mod tho, there is a mod to make it toggle-able between PAL and NTSC, i might opt for that since it's a rather useful feature.

    @sun i don't think so, I've heard that the short boards in the c models are rather reliable (Adrian Black praises them a lot) so i think it will just work out of the box, if it doesn't work and i have to test out chips and stuff i might install zif sockets just because it's cool to easily swap in and out chips. What other mods are there even?

    Replacement PSU

    I already have a R5X, it does have issues with retro computers but it's what I have and it will just have to do.

    @sun yep, it's an original one. I know they're rather dangerous but i wanted to give a PSU repair or something similar a go, but i guess that wont happen since it's potted. I guess it looks nice as a paperweight.

    @allison i guess that wont happen with the large ass recent success the Fallout TV series is. Honestly I'd rather see the companies that buy these studios just being better stewards, but that's never gonna happen.

    It saddens me that Tango Gameworks are getting shut down by Microsoft after the banger that is Hi-Fi Rush. Especially with this lame ass email as an answer;

    According to an email sent by Microsoft’s Matt Booty, shared with Eurogamer, the decision to close these studios was “grounded in prioritising high-impact titles and further investing in Bethesda’s portfolio of blockbuster games and beloved worlds”.

    @sun first i thought that i didn't like W11 just because i wasn't used to using it, but no. It's seriously just bad. I wish work didn't require me to run Windows.

    They still do that weird hide options in the right click menu, and swapped buttons with text on them for only icons (why not do both?). It sucks

    @sun i know that Adrian Black had a lot of issues with his 5X too, it's very much "consoles first" and computers are just some afterthought. Apparently the 4K model is supposed to be better with it, I'm considering getting it for different reasons but yeah. I wish the 5X would do computers better.
