If you're selling now and you don't need liquidity in the near-term, then you're committing to your losses. You'd be buying high and selling low, the opposite of what you'd want to do; or in the best case you wasted your time and liquidity. If you continue to buy in a DCA fashion, it's basically like there's a big sale going on for a while. You end up in the same place at the end, but you pay less along the way.

If you *do* value liquidity now, that's another story.

@victorgijsbers That's hard to explain. Media aimed at young men for self-improvement, dating and other stuff. Some of it falls into what some people call the "manosphere". A lot of it is Joe Rogan-adjacent.

We don't live in a post-truth world. We live in a post-truth culture. There's a difference. The real world doesn't give a shit what you believe, and that's exactly why inaccurate beliefs can cause so much pain. The good news is that a post-truth culture is in no way sustainable for that very reason. The bad news is that it's death and the filling of its niche with something better could be incredibly painful if we just let things run their natural course on their own.

I find the resilience of Hamas incredible. The fact that Israel was even willing to make concessions was astonishing to me but now as we see them pouring out onto the street and resuming operations, we know why. It's really mind-blowing considering the scale of this war and how well IDF and Mossad dispatched Hezbollah. I didn't realize Hamas was this strong. We know their offensive capacity is significantly degraded, but the fact that they're even alive is nuts.
