After receiving more ad hominem insults from Amsterdam’s most vocal taxidriver (because I said something in the newspaper) I was wondering, have we already seen a video from @notjustbikes about taxis? In what way do they contribute to a city? Amsterdam can't limit them without better national legislation.

@neilo @paullu @notjustbikes @typewriteralley better yet, “the fire department does not allow more cars on this important road” is a message I would like to see on busy roads. With some traffic filter to decrease the capacity of the road, pushing traffic jams back to neighbourhoods. So people can decide: to leave this mess I can just take a bike to that important road and ride together with others. Like... in a bus?

@notjustbikes interview with emigrant from the Netherlands in Texas: what do you miss the most? “Everything is big and far away here. I miss jumping on my bike to go somewhere. Here you have to do everything by car. Everything in the Netherlands is actually really small, you don't really notice it when you live there.”

Because it's so easy!
