ReindeR Rustema@notjustbikes In Amsterdam I would feel entitled to just take over the road and bike in the middle of it. Don't expect much anger from the motorists because they can see there is no alternative. Would not be fined I am sure, for the same reason. Luckily the bike lanes are cleaned and I never felt the need for such a stunt. Probably the city understands what a mess it would be if bicyclists are all deprived of their bike lane and start using the main road.
