Paddock worked for the postal service, then as an internal auditor for a company that Lockheed Martin bought, and then for the IRS.
> Paddock listed his occupation as postal carrier at the time of their marriage. He worked for a predecessor to Lockheed Martin for three years in the late 1980s, according to a company statement. His brother-in-law said he was an accountant; public records describe him as an internal auditor.
> Investigators piecing together 64-year-old Stephen Paddock's life found he worked for the Internal Revenue Service and as an auditor for defense contracts. But Paddock apparently started his government service via a far more humble route: working two years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service from 1976-1978. That appears to overlap with his time at Cal State Northridge, from which he graduated in 1977. > > A spokeswoman for the Office of Personnel Management told The Associated Press that Paddock then worked as an agent for the IRS for six years until 1984. Paddock then was employed as an auditor focused on defense contracts for a little over a year, federal personnel records showed. > > Paddock also worked in the 1980s for one of the companies that later combined to form aerospace contractor Lockheed Martin, according to The New York Times. > > His other work history however is not completely clear.
heres the usual snopes, they say "no shooter on 4th floor" but its possible that the floor that the flashing light is coming from is a mainenance floor, which would mean someone who works for the building might have placed it there. it caused a lot of people to think that the shooting was coming from a lower floor (was the light placed there on purpose?)
> I haven't seen any flashes from Mandalay, but if it is coming from Mandalay there is a strobe light coming from one of those windows on the east side.
edit: youll notice they "debunk" a second shooter the classic snopes way: strawman. by the time this article came out pretty much everyone thought the shooting was coming from the north or north west, not two shooters at the hotel
more on jason aldeans lawyer that died 30 days after the shooting:
> Describing meetings with MGM, Las Vegas police, and the FBI as “incredibly strange and complex” to one of his friends on recently made private Facebook threads, the attorney was privy to inside information that the FBI, by announcing they are no longer holding press conferences and the investigation is closed, have chosen to withhold from the public. > > Orville Almon, known as a straight shooting attorney to the many Nashville musicians he represented, has become the latest in a very long line of suspicious deaths and disappearances surrounding the Las Vegas shooting. > > Almon’s death, described by local Nashville media as “seizure during sleep”, mirrors that of Kymberley Suchomel of Apple Valley, California, a shooting survivor who was found dead in her home, hours after her husband left for work. > > Ms. Suchomel gave a very detailed account of what happened in Las Vegas, insisting there were multiple gunmen involved in the shooting. Claiming that mainstream media was not telling the truth, Kymberley was planning on creating a survivor’s group to continue the quest for truth and justice.
an impromptu team along with two hotel security entered flamingo sometime during the shooting and according to one senior law enforcement it was to secure video footage of the event. i have no idea what this means. i know there was legitimately a reported shooting/injury there, and you can see the stretcher the officers are carrying in along with hands up! hands up! to make sure they're safe on their way in, again indicating an active shooter situation.
they took the best hotel footage of the shooting along with luxor and mandalay bay footage
unsure how to confirm if it happened during the shots on the crowd or after "paddocks" shooting had stopped but the news said it was both during and after the shooting. what the news and the senior official said. there were many many reports of different hotels getting attacked - check up thread for that... im just wondering why they had the inclination to secure footage in a small impromptu rushed team. the bodies aren't even cold and they want the footage for some reason
which tells me they thought it would be stolen or erased most surely. either one of the many reported shooters would steal it, and the cops had to beat them, or the cops were the ones stealing it.
when you consider jason aldeans lawyer died so close to when the couple in the car crash died. not to mention he was inside the investigation in contact with fbi and police and he had been pushing for getting the footage released. its also very strange that he died the same way kymberley died- in their sleep
> According to a senior law enforcement official involved in the investigation, the seven man team was comprised of one FBI tactical officer, standing in the back left of the formation, and six officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department who were drafted last minute for this impromptu raid. Their mission, according to the senior official, was to secure the video footage being captured from the Tropicana's south facing external surveillance cameras, which were recording an unparalleled high definition view of the massacre from beginning to end.
- paddock sold guns according to court documents. it makes sense now why he had so many different types of guns and attachments. but the emails do not read like two people working out a deal it reads like one person doing all the talking.
> PADDOCK to MARILOU DANLEY. It is unclear what the purpose of the wire transfer was, but MARILOU DANLEY is known to have been in the Phillippines at the time. > 15. Additionally, on July 6, 2017, Target Account 1 sent an email to centralpark4804@gmail.com which read, "try an ar before u buy. we have huge selection. located in the vegas area." Later that day, an email was received back from centralpark4804@gmail.com to Target Account 1 that read, "we have a wide variety of optics and ammunition to try." And lastly, Target Account 1 later sent an email to centralpark4804@gmail.com that read, "for a thrill try out bumpfire ar's with a 100 round magazine." Investigators believe these communications may have been related to the eventual attack that occurred at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
putting the emails together it very much reads like a coherent sales pitch. there is no logic to telling a salesperson about your own stock when they sell the same stuff:
>try an ar before u buy. we have huge selection. located in the vegas area. we have a wide variety of optics and ammunition to try. for a thrill try out bumpfire ar's with a 100 round magazine.
> If I die I die > Friendly group present > They couldn't take out the shooter(s) > They cannot corroborate because they 'were not there' > Suitcase - trigger for a bigger conflict > Greater crisis averted > Go figure it out
> Thats all i can say im likely dead and putting others at risk but im not ok with whats going on sorry. > > Dont let this go
