@technomancy @cwebber Honestly I'm probably in a lucky position to have been able to do this, but my solution was just to move the IRC channel to a network which runs the Matrix bridge themselves (specifically, Hackint)

LB: I really wish we'd remember how to build websites, not web apps. Tools like React were built for applications you keep open for long periods of time, but now they're everywhere.

@lanodan My experience travelling between Berlin and Paris several times is that without fail the ICE Berlin<->Karlsruhe is somehow running 30+ minutes late while either the ICE or TGV Karlsruhe<->paris arrives at most 10 minutes late

In normal circumstances I would expect them to hold the second train

But I expect they won't because SNCF won't want to import DB's punctuality

...I always forget that the Bordbistro closes around Leipzig Hbf
