I went dancing, took my brain until the third song to sync to the music. That's why I usually play Stepmania before going dancing, but I didn't this time.

    Anyway, more pictures.

And... The power went out. People finished the song on their own, while the musicians were just looking around.

And now several people with flashlights are running around checking fuses and power distribution points.

Agreed. That's the first time in a very long time I've seen someone on the internet listen to complaints.

So just like the "consent" popups.

Nice to see which side you are on, makes it easier to block you.

Try with a pressed CD. The data is a thin aliminium layer right under the label, so cutting the shiny side should not get anywhere near the aluminium layer.

CD players were always promised to be able to ignore scratches, I wonder if they are able to read through this intentional scratch.

I was not aware of the layering of CDRs.

So, did it play in a CD player? Was it able to ignore the "scratch"?

But the claim is that the laser is not focusing on the scratch, so it should be able to look right past it.

I know, that's why I would like to see the results.

I'll be impressed if it can play, but might also say something about false advertising if it doesn't.

Then do it as much as you need to *for you*, but don't do it for them.

And stand proud as much as you can, then maybe some day you won't need to say sorry anymore.

I did not intend to say you shouldn't say sorry when you messed up. Maybe that wasn't as obvious as I thought? I got the impression that you say it a lot more than that, but maybe I took your little basic program too literally.

Saying sorry when you messed up is good. When you did the right thing but someone else didn't lile it, that's the time to stand proud. And you should never feel the need to say sorry for existing.

(I was trying to be supportive, but maybe failing, I'm not much of a people person - at all).

There should be a double space before 38911.

(To be honest, I had to look it up, I remembered the double space, but not where it was).

Also, don't say sorry, stand proud.

Not only does the S in NAS stand for storage, it wouldn't make much sense if it stood for server.

A network attached server? as opposed to what? A "may I take your order" server?

Even if it was EU wide, Danish politicians would still buy Microsoft. Just like they are still talking about buying more F35s to defend against Putin invading Greenland, in a time when Trump is actually threatening to do so.

The zebra crossing requires you to give way whether there is a sign or not. The sign tells you "here is a pedestrian crossing, in case you didn't notice".

    Thus a square🧑🎓

Doesn't the Amiga have anything like cat ttyS0 >file? That was my plan for getting files onto a real Amiga, but I haven't gotten around to look up how.

Anyway, there's a bunch of options at http://www.pjhutchison.org/emulation/uae_transfer.html - number 5 (directory) sounds like the easiest. Although that's winuae, so it may have differen features

Do you even have a penny farthing, or are you just dragging the tiny wheel unicycle behind the regular one?😜

Kidding, but the saddle position is close enough that you could probably fool people, especially if the camera angle is 45ish degrees.

If flatpaks are so great, why does your repository have instructions for building from source and no flatpak releases?
