⚖️ Gjovik v Apple Update: NLRB just formally served Apple the final compliance packet. Apple must submit proof of posting to the NLRB by 4/28. The final documents include: the settlement agreement; compliance instructions; & posting obligations.

The official notice, which Apple is legally quired to post internally and publicly, affirms:
💪 Employees may discuss wages, hours, conditions.
💪 Apple may not use its policies to silence or surveil.
💪 Apple is rescinded multiple unlawful policies.🧵⬇️

My current litigation mini-battle with Apple is over "confidentiality" in discovery. I told Apple if I get any discovery docs from them that are important to Apple worker's labor rights and/or public safety, I intend to share it with public & government.

Apple's response is trying to force more, worse NDAs on me (with worse punishments), & lots of email screeching.

Discovery in public interest lawsuits is supposed to be a service to the press and public, in addition to the plaintiff.

It almost never is because defendant's always try to get protective orders that cover everything, and bully the other side incessantly.

I told them I'm a-ok with no tweeting trade secrets, etc - but otherwise, I'm for sure tweeting their unionbusting & environmental crimes. They have not liked that at all.

@puppygirlhornypost2 @otter If they did it like that, they'd have to actually compensate people for their labor. There's no "volunteering" from employees when it comes to biometrics (per GDPR & related), and labor laws don't love "volunteer" work that's really just unpaid work.

@puppygirlhornypost2 @otter They're cheap a**es who refused to spend a few dollars on proper data sets and data collection to build and tune the models for Face ID. They force their employees to dogfood all of their products and experiments instead.

@otter Gobbler is the "Face Gobbler" app that Apple put on some unlucky employees phones that takes pics/videos/biometrics 24/7 whenever it 'thinks it sees a face' without warning or consent. Apple said it fired me for complaining about it.

This morning I filed motions in the federal civil lawsuit requesting to 1) disqualify Apple's current law firm, & 2) replead several claims to add revenge porn & sextortion, including RICO where I'm also accusing Apple of violating the Hobbs Act. #BadApple

Part of my motion to disqualify is based on those OSHA FOIA documents, which revealed a damning timeline with extreme cyberharassment against me tied to the firm's legal deadlines related to my case. I said I need to do discovery on them so they can't also be defense counsel.

Apple claimed only 2 docs as evidence to support firing me but refused to give me copies. After I filed this FOIA request to US Dept of Labor asking for my case file, OSHA's response revealed 1 of those 2 docs is an email to Apple legal with Gobbler photos of my naked breasts.

Apple redacted the photo of my naked breasts prior to sending the naked photos of me to OSHA, with Apple claiming my tits are "Apple Confidential."

The hearing is scheduled in 2025. NLRB is asking for, among other things: Apple to apologize to me & rehire me, & Apple to give everyone at Apple (managers & workers) labor rights training.

Apple usually only lets an unfavorable article like this blow up if they can blow it up in a direction that helps them somehow. This one's prob a trick that prevents reporters from writing about a topic twice

Netflix released a new documentary called "Buy Now!" and it is very very good.

I don't know how it got funded, because it actually tells the truth about a lot of controversial topics, such as: illegal dumping of hazardous waste, greenwashing fraud schemes, planned obsolescence, tech worker's personal responsibility to not help their employer cause harm in the world, & the importance of pushing through the pain of neoliberal cognitive dissonance.

Right after Apple somehow Jedi-mindtricked the Judge to dismiss tons of my key claims, and for admittedly no good reason - I got a random phone call that I'm 99% sure was Apple's lawyers - pretending to be an Apple worker & trying to get me to say I regret suing Apple. That showed me they're desperate.

@mcv That's not how any of that works, & I find it very strange that you are so emotionally invested in this exchange. I don't know why you feel it necessary to try to influence the voting choices of someone in a completely different country than you - but I think you may want to consider more productive hobbies.
