There was a lot of bunk about the geopolitics of "Gog and Magog" (the US and Russia) and how they both had to fall or somesuch.

The #Mastodon web UI is screwed up if I want to copy/paste a link to a fedi post and it sometimes takes the form of 'site.name/objects/64488f19-c082-4efc-bfd9-45b803b3d70c'.

I can't use that to quote, and I can't put it in the Search bar if I want to boost it on my other account (search won't find it).

There are now at least 3 different major forms that a post URL can take, and only one behaves correctly in Search. @Gargron
