> if you actually ignored her she would leave you alone
That does not real.
I ignored her for months. She hopped alts to get around blocks and mutes and said "But now I'm interested in what you're doing!" I used a bot to incentivize blocking, didn't work. She ended up instance-blocked and wouldn't go away. I wrote the Iron Dome to prevent her from doing the Fansy the Friendly Bard strategy, which she did because the entire server was ignoring her and she felt it was urgent to communicate that she didn't like the *reason* loli was banned on FSE. After the Iron Dome was in place, I got messages from people relaying requests from her to stop. Ignoring her, even delegating the task of ignoring her to a machine, does not work.
Anyway, I just had an idea, we'll see if it works.

You gave me, repeatedly, the bullshit excuse that you forgot which instance you were on, but you apparently think I'm a goddamn idiot: the post that gets reported is part of a thread where you were gorespamming from DRC, then came over to FSE to yell at them for blocking your DRC account and gorespamming.
I don't know what you want. I'm not sorry and would do it again.

> I think by default chrony sets the clock at launch and then drifts.
Yep, this is what the docs indicate, this is exactly the behavior I want (and apparently they use the ethernet hardware timestamps). ntpd tries to guess at and anticipate drift and then jump to the target time in 250ms increments. As far as I can tell, it has never done that correctly, or those clocks would get *closer* together rather than one of them speeding up and one slowing down.

Yeah, reasonable. -

Meanwhile, ntpd is...I don't know what it's doing, it appears to be making drift *worse*:

I delegated to a robot, an MRF that stopped him from attaching images to posts, he got mad and blocked me.
