@goatsarah I would gently request removing "i*iot" as it is unnecessarily ableist language and plenty of people with less "intellectual" resources than these assholes have also been far less harmful and more caring. Thank you

And it's not even like some of the criticisms can't, themselves, be criticized - e.g. demands for stronger corporate crackdowns on copyright are a "cure" worse than the problem that will hit human media archival preservation and sharing harder than it will generative AI, and creation of sentient intelligence -the big fear in the TESCREAL crowd - is an *entirely* imaginary risk -

but there's lots of real problems with AI and other new technologies that this guy is denying
