@binarydigit i love mine. not great for newer games, but it does do some games (i mean, it will play REPO or Peak, albeit I'd rather not.) -- my wife just let me play her UE5 game Paula the Possum on mine and it ran super smoothly.

@binarydigit is it being built with `npm run build`? I ask because it feels like the second half of that script isn't running. The Tailwind script takes the CSS file from `./styles/global.css` and outputs it to `./_site/global.css` after 11ty has ran. this would need to be tweaked if you changed the output directory from `_site`

@binarydigit you may also need to create this `netlify.toml` file in the root of the repo.

i previously mentioned shipping an 11ty starter kit version of my photo blog template. i need to make a few changes tonight and we should be golden.

why did it take so long? life and i have some opinions on things. how do you safely encourage sharing of art in the age of AI? well, i don’t know. but i tried my best at what i could do.

oh and for a simple photo blog there’s a lot of neat features i hope you will love

@binarydigit my dumb method for doing search on static sites is to expose everything in a json feed and then search that with a fuzzy search library so i don’t need to rely on third parties.

@binarydigit after trying Proton Drive, Ente, and Jottacloud: Ente is the only one that makes an attempt to back up albums. out of 70k photos it has determined 6 of which cannot be backed up but won’t tell me why. (Proton Drive has 1, but it’s really slow compared to Ente, taking over twice as long).

@binarydigit i don’t have a lot of hope for a life sim game with a gender binary. that said between all the customization and AI stuff it really looks like people are going to have a lot of fun abusing it in some mind-blowing ways. i wanna see Monster Factory or Let’s Game It Out get ahold of it.
