@binarydigit i don’t have a lot of hope for a life sim game with a gender binary. that said between all the customization and AI stuff it really looks like people are going to have a lot of fun abusing it in some mind-blowing ways. i wanna see Monster Factory or Let’s Game It Out get ahold of it.

We Need To Talk About Apple's OSes

In the latest release of Apple's OSes they enabled Apple Intelligence by default, even if you had turned it off. That's bad enough, but what's worse is they are also phoning home every 15 minutes with your messages and what you've typed, aka a keylogger.

You can turn this off, and you should. Apple doesn't care about consent, so there's no reason to trust them with this data.

Edit: I may be misreading this, but I have no reason to give them any trust at all.

the existence of javascript frameworks are not "the problem with front-end," bad management and bad engineering decisions are made left and right in all areas. if there was no javascript, these same companies would be building awful shit in flash, activex, and silverlight instead. just look what these companies do in their native apps! gps spying and other trackers run amok.
