Imagine being such an unpleasant human being that even your own daughter calls you a heinous incel.
The richest man in the world literally wrote a public tweet to the most famous singer in the world offering to impregnate her because she supports the opposite political candidate as him.
Let’s stop calling people like Musk and Trump “controversial” and let’s start calling them with their real names: toxic men and malignant narcissists who are biologically incapable of empathy, whose mental disease is greatly amplified by the disproportionate level of attention that they receive because of their undeserved positions in society.
"Springfield OH has epitomized what's great about the American Dream, up to today's chance for Haitians to thrive, and its dark underbelly of lynching and anti-Black riots
What's new is men openly riding the dark side to seize the White House."
3/ "It’s all over the news now: how the low level of grumbling among some longtime white Springfield residents as thousands of refugees from Haiti’s political turmoil were welcomed to town by civic and faith leaders got turned up a notch with a fatal 2023 traffic accident, and went from a whisper to a scream with a power boost from the internet, as locals knowingly or unknowingly dredged up ancient racist tropes about immigrants eating geese, even their neighbors’ cats."
2/ "...the dream, pushing Springfield forward. As I slept on a Holiday Inn mattress, I didn’t know the city was governed in late 1960s by Ohio’s 1st Black mayor, one of 1st in nation since Reconstruction. In 2014, at seemingly rock bottom, civic leaders announced a plan to save a community that had lost 1/3 of its population by appealing to new immigrants — an idea that bore fruit 6 years later when a surge of legal Haitian migrants and a new breed of factory owner forged a beautiful friendship"
@broadwaybabyto no, but this was on a Friday and I was sick by Monday & off work for two weeks before coming back. He had to do my job (which was quite awful) for the 2 weeks I was gone.
Then I came back with a chronic cough, and the other two guys in the office complained to HR and I had to do my office work from an empty cubical farm upstairs, while all the engineers were working from home. So he was still stuck doing some of my sorting work.
@broadwaybabyto the thing is that he wasn't a guy who was refusing to mask, he was a guy who showed up to work sick and got sicker during the work day. He got a supply of masks from some charity and was trying a new one out for the first time. I believe he honestly believed that his deep, concerning cough was from breathing in the little fibers from the mask. That is what he said was causing it.
That work place had 250 employees and worked 100% through the pandemic.
@broadwaybabyto by the way, since I didn't mention it before in this thread, I went home and continued to cough for 4 months. Sometime during that I realized that my body wasn't maintaining body temperature and I had to use the heat in my apartment to make sure that I could get up and digest food. Very early, within the first two weeks, I had a very painful, very cold, empty place in my lungs directly over my heart that ached constantly for 9 months.
2) It moved online through accounts like End Wokeness, Jack Prosobiec, Charlie Kirk, and Megan Basham sharing the rumors about pets as fact - and that was picked up and promoted by Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan, JD Vance, the House GOP Judiciary Committee.
while she was a part of it... this goes a lot deeper... from a poster on FB group I'm part of.
1) It started with rumors, it started - in part - when a Neo-Nazi member of the group Blood Tribe/Blood Pride who goes by the fake name Nate Higgers (think about it, you'll get it) spoke at a Springfield city council meeting ranting about the Haitian immigrants even though he doesn't live in Springfield. He also led an anti-Haitian Neo Nazi march in Springfield.
