About the rest: we do what we can: i have currently much more time than most other people, and some more patience too, probably, but i often share your feelings of a fight that's impossible to win; still, i think it's good to try, in any case, "for any possible future" and even in case we'll all end up in complete extinction; but me too, i probably should treat myself a bit better.

Qui su graeber.social, che ancora non ha definito e rifinito ecc. le sue regole d'istanza, lo si vuol fare con assemblee aperte a tutt* l'utent* anche da remoto, a me sembra la cosa migliore, perché capisco il discorso sul legare un'istanza a un territorio, capisco che sarebbe meglio così, ma è inevitabile che lə utent* in realtà abitino sempre nella più gran parte da altre parti, rispetto a quello che si vorrebbe fosse il territorio di riferimento di un'istanza (1/3)

Perché è così che funziona internet, e non puoi cambiare questa cosa se non stabilendo, per es., che "a puntarella si possono iscrivere solo roman*" - ma poi non puoi verificarlo, a meno di voler fare tipo facebook quando ti chiede di mandare la carta d'identità.

Il vedersi in real life, anche a manifestazioni, ecc., capiterebbe sicuramente non di meno, su istanze dove tuttə l'utent* potessero partecipare alle assemblee anche da remoto: capiterebbe non di meno a torino tra torinesi su puntarella, a roma tra romani che stanno su bida, a rimini tra riminesi che stanno su cisti, ecc. Non ha senso questa cosa delle assemblee non partecipabili da remoto.

@aral yes, and we also didn't have the technological ability to solve the decimation/extinction problem itself, on its ecological level; and that same technological ability, and its much easier developments, would be of great help with a world finally liberated from capitalism: an anarcho-communist, or socialist-libertarian (as you like it more) world where, in addition to all the other, there would be no patents, no industrial secrets, no secret scientific and humanist knowledge.
