@Aslanmane I'm not sure, but I think it's a social media thing for sure. But I agree. On social media people tend to take things way too seriously. If I have a deep relationship or friendship with someone who knows me well, as I would know them, then mutual consideration of hurtful topics is absolutely a necessity. Here we are sharing our own stuff, to groups of people, not to a single person - we can't be expected to know everyone's hot buttons or sensitivities, and for anyone to expect us to is silly - it isn't about one person, it's about what we're sharing, and to whom - a "crowd". If I'm going to make an issue of my feelings in that situation it is inconsiderate to the one who is sharing their feelings, since it isn't about me; I just shrug, mute, and move on when someone cares enough to share something that is good for them but not for me.

@fuat2mb I don't, but that if what he says about the Dove organization that is very sad...brings to mind 1Tim 4:1 :(

@fuat2mb Such great creative parenting! And teaching empathy too I see, she's considering the feelings/needs/desires of others which is great for such a young child...so cool!

UGH, whole afternoon wasted...I believe an extreme solution is called for here. Delete my #Nextcloud from my server completely and just dump all of my files onto a separate drive for backup (leaving the originals on one of my hard drives of course).

@royal I use both Linux and Android but keep my feeds on Linux. I enjoy using QuiteRSS.

July 24 @ 22:47 We did end up going to Mt. Pleasant to visit Menards. I wanted a pan for under the freezer so it could come back into the house. The only pans they had were much larger than I needed but we will work something out, my days of going from store to store to store to find things I need are over. I wouldn't have cared if we had to sit the freezer in a bathtub at this rate hahaha! Anyway, also made a quick stop at Aldi for a few things, felt bad because I had some items in my scwalker's basket that I didn't put on the conveyor thingy, just left with them after Pete paid for everything else from the buggy. Ugh. So he took the stuff back in and paid for it. Got a free iced coffee from Biggby for Pete on the way home. Had a little nap on my chaise while he was setting up the nature cam outside because something has been helping themselves to my garden! I thought having it so close to the house would keep it safe from predation...I was wrong. Tomorrow we will hopefully see who the culprit is! I did a ton of moderating today too. So that's about it for my day, I'm already up in bed and will see you in the morning❣️❣️❣️

@fuat2mb HAHAH! Well I was making some comparisons there that some people (not in our instance) would get their knickers in a twist over :). It wasn't important enough to keep it in :). But yeah, good point, hadn't thought of that!

July 3 @ 09:37 I've been up since just before 08:00 but enjoying my new morning routine with my coffee...which was interrupted by a knock. But the dogs didn't bark! So strange...Pete went out and it was the turkeys (Tom, his brother Tom, and his other brother Tom) knocking on Myrtle to remind him that they hadn't had their breakfast yet hahaha! So Pete stopped what he was doing (he was on his morning net, actually, which he doesn't even walk away from when *I* need something!) to get out there. Now the silly birds are sitting in the sun, digesting their food, preening, and starting the rest of their day! Love these silly critters...[redacted content] it will be a very busy day today, not sure how much time I will have at my laptop but still hoping to get a Monday Music recording done - it will likely be evening before I can get to it though. And I will try to get another post up sooner but we'll see how the day is going. I plan on a productive and enjoyable one, though! I hope the same for you - have a merry Monday, friends❣️❣️❣️

June 26 @ 23:27 The girls just went to bed upstairs, I'll probably just sleep in my recliner tonight because I've been getting kicked in the back all night by little feet every night and I'm hoping that I'll sleep better without all that nonsense hahaha! The grands are going home tomorrow, I will miss them like crazy! At the same time, I will appreciate having some of my time and routine back. Mixed blessing. I went out to look at flowers today, but I was overwhelmed, I will ask J&E to meet me there before they come on Friday I think, if they can. Got my first new glasses in probably a decade today, definitely a huge change, it will take some time to get used to for sure. And I guess that's it for today, I will see you tomorrow, friends (BTW the heart exclamation point won't post here for some reason, I will try something else)

June 18 @ 23:06 I did absolutely nothing today! This morning Pete turned a cop show on the TV, I started to watch it with him. It turned out to be like a serial, and the only crime they worked on took all 10 episodes to solve! And we watched them ALL!!! So I don't really have anything to report today, but for some reason I can barely keep my eyes open so I'm going to make this quick and get to bed, I'll see you in the morning, friends❣️

(Once in a while I use the BT headphones but not often.)
