@tramtrist@36pickledeggs@Haikyoneko@KuramaSuben The board has little bumps that keep the tiles in place, which I guess comes in really handy during an earthquake Speaking of board games, we should have a board game or cards night sometime.
@Haikyoneko@KuramaSuben@tramtrist Quite the shake here on the 12th floor. Scared my mom and she asked if we needed to leave the building. ๐ Only her second quake.
@Haikyoneko Does he have teaching experience? We're looking for more instructors for the contract I was talking about last night. Would be a very part-time freelance thing.
@FlockOfCats@tokyobybike My (Japanese) husband insisted that our ward took our recyclables together, which I absolutely knew wasn't true, but he wouldn't listen. And sure enough, he got the bag in the place of shame. So that checks out.
Tokyo bus driver saw me running to the bus. Despite having a red light, he started pulling out of the bus stop. When I got to the door, barely even out of the bus stop, he wouldn't even look at me. I knocked and his shook his head. Like come on dude. I do sometimes miss the flexibility and rule breaking of the US.
@piepants@FlockOfCats@brian You can find a lot of good ones on Mercari. A lot of collectors sell ones that they've barely used (which I am also guilty of ๐ฌ).
@Haikyoneko I'm continuing to be way too wholesome. ๐ I made human versions of my cats and Hime's main topic of conversation is her emotional support skirt.
