@FlockOfCats @tokyobybike My (Japanese) husband insisted that our ward took our recyclables together, which I absolutely knew wasn't true, but he wouldn't listen. And sure enough, he got the bag in the place of shame.

@tokyobybike at my current apartment I’ve never had my garbage returned to the place of shame in the lobby. But lots of people do. Presumably mostly Japanese. 🙃
