Kinda amazing that a 70 years old device can speak with modern day phones. Timeless paradigm, huh?

yesterday I ended up reading the time zone database mailing list archives. I'm so thankful that there are people who do that kinda work, so we don't have to. It's a very special kind of rabbit hole.

But this leads to a broader topic. I think we should discuss how we feel about these content farming accounts, that thrive from the uncredited content of other people, for the sole purpose of gaining followers and selling merch. Do we really want that in the fediverse?
