I am frustrated that my brother, the computer engineer and only member of my family that I have won't help me with my computer problems. His help was, "I don't have time. Just call the manufacturer."
Someone did the nicest thing in the world and I can not stress enough how thankful I am to them. I live in a bubble. I have no family support, a single in-person friend and no support network. Having to be a full-time parent to a child who is a victim of trauma has been such a challenge that is compounded by being a single income home. We can't afford much and spend almost all of our money on the essentials and bills. 1/
So when someone decided to go out of their way to help me with something I've wanted for some time, I don't even know how to express it effectively. That doesn't happen to me... period and the fact that it did warms my heart to no end. I don't know what level of thanks I should express, because it just doesn't happen and I've no experience with it.
People-ing is hard when you have no extended family or friends. 2/2
If you ever wanted a first person rpg rich with imagination, striking visuals and a penchant for the surreal, please... please, buy Dread Delusion. It is very good. The combat is fun, all the mechanics feed into each other and the world it has created is astounding.
For anyone who has criticized Bethesda for lacking imagination.... it is time to put your money where your mouth is.
Seriously.... why the fuck does my phone not have the ability to play an MP3 that doesn't use a service like Amazon or Spotify (which I will add will NOT play if I attempt to use them)
Hey folks, we are now LIVE with more Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager! Can we solve the volcano murder mystery? Will we beat the game tonight!? Find out now! https://twitch.tv/bogusmeatfactory
I am listening to someone who has never played a Myst game, complain that Myst Online has a confusing plot. That's like watching Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker after never seeing a single star wars movie. Of course it doesn't make sense!
@powersoffour yeah he is HELMING THE FRANCHISE so of course he put himself as the lead character and of course he is the edgiest and "coolest" character... ugh!!!!
@powersoffour there was some behind the scenes pictures of some sets and there is one arcade sign for space paranoids with that tagline. It is looking to be super brooding and dark. Disney described the plot as such, "TRON: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings."
Me about to cry because someone DMed me to tell me that they appreciated my stream of Otherland and how they loved how I presented myself on stream. It's so nice to be appreciated for that stuff. You have no idea!
Here are some more screenshots I took of Otherland, the long dead MMORPG recently being worked on that you can explore on a private server (no combat or quests yet sadly). This is of the zone Four Squared. A huge digital chessboard that is ENORMOUS with both white and red pieces waging war. Even the lens flare is being all cyberpunk. #mmorpg#mmo#videogames#Digitalpreservation#retrogaming
@MichaelKlamerus There was a college radio station where my friend lived that had a midnight block dedicated to "nerd music." It had to be weird, obscure, video game or anime music and we would call in every night as regulars. They loved us because we brought the good stuff. I would have loved your set!
"I played a 2 year old game with old hardware and it worked better than a game just released on the same hardware. This makes the new game a bad game!" Weird internet takes.
Me talking to a dad at a school event and they learned I like video games.
Them: "I've been playing the new spider-man game and it's awesome! What have you been playing?"
Me: "Oh I just beat Ravenloft Strahd's Possession, a 1995 SSI RPG set in the D&D world of Ravenloft. Also been really into the 1986 Commodore 64 graphical social MMO Habitat by Lucasarts!"
