@pluralistic If you ever make a proper website for martinhench.com, not just a redirect to kickstarter, I have a suggestion: a user-choosable stylesheet that shows the page either as a modern page (Red Team Blues), a MySpace, construction-gif version from the 2000s (The Bezzle) or a BBS-themed one (Picks and Shovels).

Jack Conte, CEO of Patreon, has a couple of bands. "Scary Pockets" is his funk cover band. It might have enough SF fans to fill DNA Lounge. So, book them for a show and and have a chat about all your Patreon issues with the boss.

@mekkaokereke Drunk driving is a genuinely bad thing that results in a lot of deaths and injuries. This cop caught someone doing it and enforced the law.

It's vaguely interesting that the cop didn't recognize him, but the identity of the cop should be a non-story. He did his job.

The reaction to this shows why there are so few good cops. Do your job by the book and this is the kind of coverage it gets.
