I'm literally losing my mind here as I now see new images of Palestinian children turning into skeletons due to the starvation campaign that #Israel imposes and brags about against the 2 million people of #Gaza, while everyone goes about their business as if nothing happened.

We normalized starvation and turned addressing it into an endless bureaucratic process and an endless discourse about stupid semantics while people are dying from hunger.

There's absolutely no reason for these attacks aside from terrorizing the Syrian population and satisfying the barbarity of the Israelis.

They're also expanding their military occupation of the #Quneitra governorate, reached the governorate of #Daraa and are attempting again to stir sectarian divisions.

I'm afraid the next couple of days until the #ceasefire goes into effect will be the hardest on Palestinians in #Gaza as #Israel usually intensifies its monstrosity and barbarity ahead of truces. It would not surprise me if they also kill more of their hostages just before they're set to be released.

I'm now waiting for the day when #Israel starts bombing a European country or a country that is not too closely associated with the "axis of resistance", because the world now is sending them the message that they're so invincible they could do whatever they liked. A similar message is also being sent to the #US. The world will regret its cowardice.

Since #Israel is the only democracy (is it?) in the Middle East, they get to bomb whatever they want and terrorize whoever they want.

I think also what's happening is that everything that could be said was said a 1000 times over, and people still could not bring themselves to challenge the status quo. I think people are also afraid. I thought I left a dictatorship, only to get stuck in another kind of dictatorship (i.e. the zionist west).

#Israel erased most, if not all, historical and cultural sites in #Gaza, #ISIS style. They destroyed one such site today in #Lebanon as well.

Given this is how colonization works, I could only wonder what was erased from the collective and cultural memory of the indigenous people of North America.

That would be true if the majority of a population (at least in electoral sense) make stopping a genocide their #1 electoral issue. But that's not the case in the West.

Also the political elites are NOT conducting themselves as "public servants" when they demonize protestors. They are behaving like authoritarian rulers.

Democracy is so overrated. See in the US where public opinion is manipulated easily by using the boogeyman card (i.e. Trump).

I'm afraid that tooting, posting, protesting, and signing petitions are not working at all in making a dent in the policies that the monstrous ruling class is adopting towards genocidal Israel.

We have to organise on a much more effective level. Are there legal venues that could be pursued to exert pressure on the ruling class? By legal, I mean something like suing people in positions of power. I would be willing to contribute within my means to the expenses of lawyers.

Ideas?
