@AnarchoNinaWrites Gonna sound like a stuck up asshole here. I mean well. I really do. But...is there really any wonder? Like really really? There isn't much difference between trump and the christian church for a reason. Because he IS the christian church.

Hell, he's the very core principles of religion period. Like there's a reason fascism almost always also has religion on it's side. The similarities between manipulative tactics exist because they are the same tactics.

That whole us vs them thing was literally born out of religion for most of the human population. Instilled in people to one degree or another since people could understand language.

Trump works for so many because religion long ago laid the groundwork. That aggressive determined to stay ignorant bit? Is a feature not a bug. Convince a person to keep their eyes closed and they'll follow you anywhere kind of thing.

@georgetakei I also used to know scientists like that. I was five at the time. And wanted to convince my parents to buy me stuff. And they were imaginary. But lets get back to the topic at hand. :P

@AnarchoNinaWrites So here's a real quick thought. Every country on the face of the planet is open to fascism rising. Why? Because every country on earth has majorities. People who make up the most of said country.

One of the biggest ways fascists rise to power? Illogical thinking. If a fascist or fascist people can manipulate the ever loving fuck out of logic. They can convince the majority of people in a country of damned near anything. Even voting away their own rights. In favor of feeling better than minorities.

Make it so that is less possible. And you make it less possible for your country to be open to fascists. Meaning the more logical people are. The less they'll fall for fascism.
