Apparently Elon is doing a great job promoting Mastodon again (this time by blocking Mastodon-related posts and links, and taking down big journalists accounts).

He is all for free speech on twitter! As long as you don't talk about his jet. Or Mastodon.

So what are good desktop apps for Mastodon? I use MacOS. I have tried Whalebird. Also used MetaText (the iOS app can be used on Mac).

Why can't I use @tootapp on MacOS?
