I have a question. I have created an account on bookwyrm.social (@richard.degenne) and I realized that the account also shows on Mastodon when searching for it.
Does that mean I could have logged in to Bookwyrm with my Mastodon account? Is there a way to merge the two, or to have my Bookwyrm posts show up on Mastodon?
I've understood the principle of federation across Mastodon instances, but it's still not clear how it works across different software.
@hypolite It depends what sort of roster change we are talking about. It's rare for an organization to replace all five players at once. Most roster changes are usually one or two players at a time, so the identity of the team is mostly left intact.
