@can The only company that could really push JMAP would be really Apple. Afaik iCloud Mail is still based on IMAP and iCloud Mail could really benefit from it.

Unfortunately Apple stopped being the company pushing for open standards and rather also implements now their own proprietary protocols.

@can I'm really not into that topic, but there are server-side implementations out there, but I guess there won’t be adoption since big providers stick to their stack.

@can Unfortunately, only FastMail supports it.

Neither Thunderbird nor major players like Gmail and Microsoft support it, as they obviously push their own proprietary protocols.

So there is not much hope of innovation outside of these players. I would say Inbox could have only existed because it was not using IMAP.

My current approach would be to implement endpoints that generate XML on the fly and page through the database on request.

For the SEO experts here, Recordfy has approximately 4 million Vinyl Records in its database, which I want to make searchable on Google and Apple Bot.

What’s the best way to enable the crawler to find these sites? I’m not keen on creating a Sitemap with around 4 million entries.

When I check sites like open.spotify.com, they don’t have a Sitemap at all. What’s the most effective approach? I already support Open Graph. Here is a example.
