I can't remember exactly what it was about this area that made me want to quit, but I'm sure I'll run into it again soon.

Just made it back to the place in Dark Souls 3 that made me want to quit seven years ago. (Was beginning to doubt my memory.)

BUT, I'm playing a magic build instead of thief this time around.

It'll be easier, I'm sure.

I've spent the weekend playing Dark Souls 3.

I got it a month after release in 2017, played it for 10 hours or so, and then quit it. I remember absolutely hating it.

I'm not sure why. It's been a fun couple of days.

Day 10 of being more disciplined about my drinking:

Literally weighed in exactly the same weight today as yesterday, so the long walk and eating well did the trick even with me drinking for a good chunk of the day. For those who might be curious, yesterday I ate mostly chicken (boneless/skinless, with buffalo sauce) and veggies and oatmeal/coffee for breakfast.

That won't be the case today. I'm having pizza for lunch, but I will be working out this morning, so there's that.
