So.. where’s the outrage? Why do international human right laws not apply to this very situation?

Palestinians have been living under Israeli occupation for 56 years. Gaza has experienced 16 of those years under complete blockade. Israel controls its water, electricity and transit in and out, pushing the territory into crushing poverty. Why does the West treat them, not Israel, as the aggressors?

What are the Palestinians supposed to do when Israeli politicians say there will never be a Palestinian state?. That leaves either the one democratic state solution or the current status quo. The status quo gives Palestinians the right to resist a military occupation and blockade

The current Israeli government in its total rejection of a Palestinian state, make Hamas come across as reasonable. Hamas accepts a 2-state solution on 1967 borders.

I am confident that they didn't know. If you are trying to market your surveillance and oppression technology that you perfected on the Palestinians since 1967, this was evidence that it doesn't work. Don't take this win away from Hamas'.

The problem though for the rest of the Palestinians, is that they will pay a dear price even if they don't agree with what Hamas did. Collective punishment is illegal but then so are the settlements in the West Bank

What about Saudi Arabia? Oil is nationalized, zero income taxes, subsidized energy, housing and food, free education and free healthcare.

If you are going to redefine socialism to mean strong welfare in a capitalist state then a lot of countries are “actually existing socialism”.
