@chjara@kaia@WahbAllat i feel like it is a loose loose situation and will not improve for many decades since mostly corrupt, extremists are in power on all sides, some maybe worse than others but all bad for the people. i strongly believe most humans everywhere just want to live in peace
The current Israeli government in its total rejection of a Palestinian state, make Hamas come across as reasonable. Hamas accepts a 2-state solution on 1967 borders.
What are the Palestinians supposed to do when Israeli politicians say there will never be a Palestinian state?. That leaves either the one democratic state solution or the current status quo. The status quo gives Palestinians the right to resist a military occupation and blockade
i just dont think looking into the past will help solve current issues. looking into the past has been a justification for all kind of bullshit in this conflict.
i dont care if it is a 1 state or 2 state solution or they whole region gets bought by china.
this thought is just an idea and might be completly wrong: btw in a one state solution wouldnt arabs be the majority? maybe this whole thing is just the worst gerrymandering ever.
btw even if one side is completely at fault, not "both siding" it wont bring them together.
