Everything is meaningless, and rebellion against meaninglessness is also meaningless. One does not rebel against the absurd because the rebellion has meaning; the rebellion is pointless, we will never win. One engages in rebellion because it's better than collaboration. In this way, we experience meaning from a meaningless act.

However, the awakened mind understands that even that meaning which we have created for ourselves is ephemeral. Even meaningless meaning has value. Get my meaning?

On campus today, saw a guy knock loudly on the women's restroom, announce "Maintenance, coming in!" and walk in without waiting for any reply.

It turns out he *was* maintenance, but for a man entering a women's restroom with the intent of doing harm, it's that easy. One doesn't need to claim to be trans; one only needs to claim to be cleaning.

I wonder if those pushing trans bathroom bans also want to ban janitors.
