I'm not adding my fave spots because I selfishly would like to keep them sekrit, mwahaha, and hopefully I'll get over that because seriously, there's wild food in abundance all over the city and this scarcity mindset does nobody any good.

Having access to an entire library of courses is amazing; what is not is the fact that in my very first course on PM fundamentals the instructor casually mentions that some stakeholders would be opposed because they would lose their jobs.

Like... shouldn't that be cause for an all-team meeting to talk about how to go forward without being a shitty person?

I wrote an article for Unsustainable Magazine that is based around my dissertation research findings about what it means to wish for systems overhaul. The consequences of that desire are what I consider now in this article. It gets a bit personal; I am embedded within my own specific context and my observations come out of that situation.

Yesterday, I gave a video tour of our current mulch / garden situation and uploaded it to the @solarpunkpresents YouTube. We lay down a bunch of cardboard to smother the unwanted plants in the places we wanted to make gardens, then re-used wood chips that have been sitting out all winter from the old tree in the backyard. Wow, I got a lot of awesome suggestions in response to this post! I just finished making up my own poster board and it manages to not to look totally juvenile due to my complete lack of design and handwriting skills, so I'm taking it as a win.
Hopefully it's intriguing enough that people ask me more about #solarpunk

On a related note: hey friends, if you had to describe what #solarpunk is on the space of a single poster board, what would you write?

(I have my own plan for bulleted points, but want to know what you think is most important to get across to con-goers who maybe have never heard of solarpunk before.)
