This is insane. And not “free.” Water is life. The opportunity costs (using water for crops, animsls, electricity, human consumption, etc) is enormous.

One 100-word email generated by an AI chatbot using GPT-4 uses 519 milliliters of water on average - that’s a bit more than a water bottle (17.5 oz).
