    accidentally interrupted the resizing on my linux partition but thankfully ext4 recovery tools are more robust than btrfs so it should be fine hopefully

    this is why my thinkpads linux is on ext4 btw
    i make mistakes a lot and ext4 is in my experience more forgiving than btrfs

    most of it was it making its hash db
    then some was it checking for duplicates
    then very little was actually deduplication
