reiserfs would probably still be at least somewhat maintained and not scheduled for removal from the linux kernel in 2025 if it didnt have a murderers name in its name tbh

@tomo The kernel devs hated Reiser for being a difficult personality even before the murder, so I'm not sure I would agree here

@tomo tbh in a way I kind of consider kent overstreet the modern reiser in terms of being this, like, total outsider who is trying to push forward the state of the art but at the same time ends up getting entangled in the politics of kernel development. I guess matt dillon also sort of counts although he took the far more radical approach of just forking off the os he was previously working on and doing everything himself
