Have you seen Slackware's installer? Still 100% text mode. Hell, this bistro still uses LILO as its boot loader.

@RL_Dane @fu Not sure, to be honest. But my desktop Linux rig has 32GB of RAM and works fine with Slackware, LILO, etc.

There used to be one of those near where I live. It's a Chipotle now. It still can't seem to keep anybody on the payroll longer than a week judging by the constant presence of "help wanted" signs.
